Shemini Atzeret

Shemini Atzeret is a Jewish holiday that follows Sukkot, offering a time for rest, gratitude, and deeper spiritual connection at the close of the festival season. Many Jewish communities observe the day with special prayers, including prayers for rain, and in some traditions outside Israel, it is celebrated together with Simchat Torah, a joyful celebration of the annual Torah reading cycle.
