In Remembrance of 9/11: 25 Years Later

Last week, Interfaith Atlanta hosted an interfaith commemoration of 9/11, 25 years after the tragic events of that day. The event was hosted in collaboration with First Christian Church of Decatur and Gentle Spirit Christian Church.

The evening was filled with solemn reflection, interfaith connection, and hopeful dialogue. Speaker Ali Khaleel, from Interfaith America, delivered a moving speech about his own experiences with the aftermath of 9/11 and how we need to continuously come together as neighbors to stop hate and division in our community.
