In a time when it can feel easier to retreat into our own communities, Building Bridges creates opportunities to come together, encounter stories different from our own, and build meaningful connections across Atlanta’s diverse communities.

Through film, facilitated dialogue, and community service, participants are invited to move from witnessing a story, to reflecting together, to taking action. Grounded in the Jewish value of Tikkun Olam, or Repairing the World, the series asks: What does it take to understand one another, stay in relationship through moments of tension, and turn connection into action?

In the first part of the series on September 15th at 7:15 pm, gather for a screening of All God’s Children (2024), an inspiring documentary that follows a five-year relationship between Congregation Beth Elohim and Antioch Baptist Church.

As these two faith communities navigate questions of racism, antisemitism, faith, identity, and belonging, the film offers a powerful look at what it takes to build trust, remain curious, and stay in relationship through moments of tension.
